LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech began to slowly put the finishing touches on this week?s game plan Thursday afternoon as the Red Raiders continue to prepare for Saturday?s Big 12 matchup at Oklahoma State.
?This was a good practice, a good Thursday,? Red Raider Head Coach Spike Dykes said. ?We got a lot done today. It was crisp, short and sweet. I thought it went well.?
Texas Tech (2-2, 1-0) practiced for just less than two hours on the artificial turf at Jones Stadium. Tech focused on the kicking game for the latter third of the practice, while continuing its focus on the Oklahoma State game plan during the early going.
The Red Raiders will practice Friday in Lubbock before boarding a charter jet for Stillwater Friday evening.
Kickoff for Saturday?s game is set for 7 p.m. at Lewis Field on the Oklahoma State campus. There will be no television for the game, but the game can be heard on the All Sports Radio Network and on the Internet at www.texastech.com.
Oklahoma State has not played at home since beating Tulsa Sept. 11 and Texas Tech has not played on the road since winning at Louisiana-Lafayette the same day.
