Kingsbury Honored Again

DALLAS - Texas Tech quarterback Kliff Kingsbury?s performance Saturday against Oklahoma in his first collegiate start earned him the Southwestern Bell Fans? Choice Player of the Week as voted by fans on the Internet.
Kingsbury, a redshirt freshman from New Braunfels, Texas, threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns in Texas Tech?s 38-28 victory over OU. He had already claimed Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors earlier this week.
Southwestern Bell will donate $500 to the Texas Tech general scholarship fund in Kingsbury?s name.
Previous winners of the award this season include Kansas? Justin Sands, Oklahoma?s Rocky Calmus, Brandon Daniels, Quenton Griffin, Jarrail Jackson and Josh Heupel (four times), Texas? Major Applewhite (twice) and Texas Tech?s Shaud Williams.
Southwestern Bell donates $500 to the general scholarship fund of the university represented by each Southwestern Bell Fans? Choice Big 12 Player of the Week.
