The Texas Tech softball team will face the University of Texas in a doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Tech intramural fields.
The series was originally scheduled for Sat. May 1, but was rescheduled due to heavy rainfall in the Lubbock area over the weekend.
Texas Tech (31-27, 6-7 Big 12) will be looking to notch the program's first win over the Texas Longhorns (39-15, 10-4 Big 12). The Raiders are being led by Sandy Butler who is averaging .326 thus far in the conference season. Butler has connected on 15 hits while scoring three runs in Big 12 play.
