Texas Tech Men's Basketball to Scrimmage Saturday

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech University men's basketball team will conduct its final scrimmage Saturday before opening exhibition play next week.

Head coach James Dickey's team will begin the scrimmage at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Athletic Training Center. The scrimmage is free and open to the public.

The Red Raiders open exhibition action Tuesday, Nov. 10 against Arkansas Express at 7:00 p.m. in Lubbock Municipal Coliseum. Tech plays its final exhibition game Friday, Nov. 13 against Global Sports in the Coliseum at 7:00 p.m.

Texas Tech opens the 1998-99 regular season at home in Lubbock Municipal Coliseum Thursday, Nov. 19 against Texas-San Antonio at 7:00 p.m. Ticket information can be obtained from the Texas Tech Ticket Office, (806) 742-4412 or 1-888-Go BIG 12.
