McCasland Joins Men?s Basketball Staff

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech University head men?s basketball coach James Dickey announced today that Grant McCasland has joined the staff as Head of Basketball Operations. The position assists with travel, equipment and scheduling and coordinates the James Dickey Basketball Camp.
?We?re excited and pleased to have Grant at Tech,? Dickey said. ?He is a quality person who is eager and enthusiastic. Grant will be a tremendous help to our staff and players.?
McCasland spent the last four years at Baylor University, where he was a member of the Bears? basketball team. McCasland graduated from Baylor earlier this month with a double major in business with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and management. He is currently enrolled in graduate courses at Tech and is working toward his MBA.
?I thank Coach Dickey for the opportunity to join his staff,? McCasland said. ?I appreciated the opportunity to be at such a respected university with great tradition and athletics. I am looking forward to working with Coach Dickey and the great staff he has assembled here at Texas Tech.?
