Volleyball Earns National Ranking

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball was rewarded this week for their 15-1 record as the squad earned a No. 24 national ranking in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
Texas Tech joins two other Big 12 schools in the national rankings (Nebraska No.1, Texas A&M No. 23). Texas Tech has not been ranked nationally since December 1, 1998 when the team held a No. 22 national ranking.
Texas Tech will put their ranking to the test this week when they host Oklahoma at United Spirit Arena at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Colorado at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
