FOX Sports Net Selects Texas Tech-Texas

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Big 12 Conference announced today that FOX Sports Net will televise Texas Tech's Nov.4 Big 12 Conference game against in-state rival Texas as part of the network's national package. Kickoff is set for 6:09 p.m. at Jones SBC Stadium in Lubbock.
The game against the Longhorns marks the fifth time this season that Texas Tech has been on television, all five times on FOX Sports Net. The Red Raiders' games against Nebraska and at Kansas State were part of the network's national broadcast package, while the opener against New Mexico and the game at Texas A&M were shown regionally.
The Red Raiders are 5-3 on the season and 1-3 in league play. Texas Tech was narrowly defeated against No. 10 Kansas State in its last outing, dropping a 28-23 decision in Manhattan. Texas is currently 5-2 overall and 3-1 in league play heading into this weekend's game at home against Baylor.
