Men Harriers Finish 10th at Mountain Regionals

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's cross country squad posted a 10th-place showing at the 2000 NCAA Mountain Regionals Saturday in Riverdale, Utah.
Senior Gezachw Yossef led the way for Tech with a 21st-place finish, running the 10K course in 31:53.4. Sophomore Ryan Cruz was next for the Red Raiders in 52nd, finishing in a time of 32:46.6.
Following Cruz was freshman Scott Moore, who ran in a time of 32:56.8 for 57th, while Joseph McCellon took 64th in a time of 33:09.6. Nick Hulstrom was Tech's fifth scorer of the race, finishing 70th in a time of 33:26.7.
Boniface Ndungu finished in a time of 33:36.2, while Dwayne Benoit posted a mark of 34:58.4.
