LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech continued game preparations for Saturday's Big 12 Conference opener at Texas A&M. The Red Raiders practiced just under two hours on the grass practice fields east of the Athletic Training Center.
"We has a good, crisp practice today," head coach Mike Leach said. "Kliff (Kingsbury) played well and looked sharp and our receiving corps did an excellent job as well. The defense also came ready to practice today. Overall, everyone is focused on the task at hand."
The Red Raiders dressed in full uniform this afternoon, opening the practice with special teams drill. The team also worked on Texas A&M offensive and defensive schemes with the scout team.
