LUBBOCK, Texas - The Red Raiders put the finishing touches on this week's game plan for the Big 12 Conference opener at Texas A&M. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 11:30 a.m. (CT) on FOX Sports. Drew Goodman and Dave Lapham will call the action from Kyle Field in College Station.
"We've had a great week of practice," head coach Mike Leach said. "Everyone is focused and has looked good throughout the week. We've healed some bumps and bruises and are looking forward to this weekend's game.
"We've continued to say all season that our goal is to win one game a week."
Since the game will be played on the grass at Kyle Field, the Red Raiders wandered from their usual Thursday workout on the artificial turf of Jones SBC Stadium and held practice on the grass fields east of the Athletic Training Center. Much of the two-hour workout was devoted to polishing and fine-tuning the game plan for Saturday's game.
The Red Raiders and the Aggies have faced each other on 58 occasions. Texas A&M holds a 32-25-1 advantage in the series, but Texas Tech has won four of the last five meetings.
