LUBBOCK, Texas - Red Raider football fans have received a taste of what's to come in the future, as the new era in Texas Tech football is under way. The Red Raiders are 2-0, prompting a brisk progression in Red Raider Stadium Club seat sales.
Steve Uryasz, executive director of the Red Raider Club, said Tuesday that 270 total club seats remain, and less than 130 of those are inside seats. He also said those seats will be sold on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
"The excitement the football team and new coaching staff has generated combined with the renovations being made at Jones SBC Stadium, we expect sales to continue moving at a brisk pace," Uryasz said. "There are seats available, but they are moving fast."
The Red Raider Club also has announced that those purchasing club seats prior to October 7 will have their name placed in a drawing for each club seat purchased for a variety of premium packages. Among the prizes awarded are two free Stadium Club seats for a year, two tickets for the NCAA Final Four, two tickets and hotel accommodations for the men's and women's Big 12 Conference Basketball tournaments, two tickets and hotel accommodations for the Big 12 Conference Championship football game and two free Personal Seat Licenses for a year for men's and women's basketball.
Also included in the giveaways are autographed Texas Tech memorabilia, two tickets, airfare and lodging to the Kansas State football game, two guest coach/sideline passes for a Red Raider football game, two tickets and hotel accommodations for the Big 12 Conference baseball tournament, two tickets, airfare and lodging for one Lady Raider basketball game and two tickets, airfare and lodging for one Red Raider basketball game.
Winners of the drawing will be announced at halftime of the Red Raiders' homecoming game with Baylor Oct. 7.
