Tech Announces Promotions for Upcoming Weekend

LUBBOCK, Texas - Being a school kid has its benefits. So does being a multi-sport Red Raider fan.
High school age and under students can gain free admission to Saturday's Texas Tech-Stephen F. Austin football game by showing their report card this week at the Texas Tech Ticket Office. Students will receive a free admission ticket at the Tech Ticket Office, which is open this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Football and basketball fans can take advantage of the Thanksgiving Weekend Combo Package. For $10, fans will receive one general admission football ticket, one general admission ticket to the Texas Tech-Sam Houston State men's basketball game Saturday night and a glow-in the-dark Midnight Madness mini basketball. The combo package is available for purchase at the Tech Ticket Office and from 1-5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at two United Supermarket stores: Market Street at 50th and Indiana and the United store at 82nd and University.
The football game starts Saturday at 1 p.m. at Jones SBC Stadium and the men's basketball game begins at 8:15 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.
Previously announced promotions for Saturday's football game are:
General Public Family 3 Pack: three game tickets, three hot dogs and three beverages for $30. Also groups of 15 or more can purchase tickets for $5 each.
Season Ticket Holders (football and basketball) -- Free hot dog and beverage at the concession stands with previously issued coupon.
Texas Tech Faculty and Staff -- Sideline seats available for $5, a 50% discount. The purchase of five tickets nets a free sixth ticket. Free hot dog and beverages (while supplies last) starting at 10 a.m. at the Frazier Pavilion for Tech faculty/staff and their families.
Texas Tech Students -- Free admission with a valid ID. Free hot dog and beverages (while supplies last) for students and their families starting at 10 a.m. at the Frazier Pavilion.
