Texas Tech Taking Bowl Ticket Reservations

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Department of Athletics announced today that it would begin taking reservations Wednesday morning for tickets to the Red Raider Football team's postseason bowl.
"Excitement surrounding Texas Tech football is at an all-time high, especially with the opportunity our team has of playing in a bowl game," Tech Director of Athletics Gerald Myers said. "We anticipate a tremendous response with our offer to fans to reserve bowl tickets.
"We would like to urge our fans to buy directly from Tech, ensuring that they will be sitting with other Red Raider fans," Myers added.
Tech's possible bowl berth could come from one of four bowls - Alamo, Insight.com, Independence or galleryfurniture.com. Ticket reservations can be made with a credit card and will only be processed for the bowl in which Texas Tech will participate. Selection day for the bowls is Sun., Dec. 9.
Ticket reservations can be made by contacting the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office at (888) GO-BIG-12 or 742-TECH. Red Raider fans also can stop by the ticket office at the North end of Jones SBC Stadium. The Athletic Ticket Office hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays.
