Spring Fling Set For Saturday April 28th

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball program will host its annual Spring Fling on Saturday, April 28th at the corner of 19th and University on the Texas Tech campus. All proceeds will benefit the Red Raider Volleyball program.

Approximately 120 teams will participate in this year's event on a total of 30 courts in 10 different divisions. Over $5,000 in cash and prizes will be given away from event sponsors Mix 100.3, KLLL Radio, Cox Communications, Powerade, United, Four Points Sheraton, Papa Johns, Schlotzksy's, Aasics, Baden, Advanced Graphix, Continental Airlines, West Copy & Print, Cardinals and University Plaza.

Check-in for Spring Fling begins at 7 a.m. with play starting at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $15 per player in advance and $20 at the tournament site with all players receiving a free t-shirt and a bottle of Powerade.
