Well another week has passed, and looking back, I wish we could do it all over again. Last Wednesday, we hosted #5 Nebraska. Everyone was pumped before the match. After all, games like this are what make the Big 12 exciting. I mean, its not everyday you get to go up against girls that average 6'3" all the way around. We started off pretty strong, but through most of games one and two we played timid, and I don't understand why. In game three we picked up our intensity considerably, but by that time it was a little late.
This past weekend we traveled to Lawrence, Kansas, to play KU. This is a place that we have always had success at, and it is a battle every time, but we have always pulled off the win. This trip we were not so fortunate. Kansas is a much better team than they have been in the past, and they pretty much took us by surprise. This loss was exceptionally painful because each one of us new that we were better than this team, and we new that we should of won. The Big 12 is funny like that because anyone can beat anyone on any given night. It is the team that is most prepared who will be victorious. That is why this week we are going to make the changes in practice and come prepared to beat Kansas State on Wednesday. See you this Saturday when we host Missouri at 7:00!!!!!!!
