It was another tough week for Texas Tech volleyball. Wednesday we were in College Station to play the Aggies. In comparison to the week before, our level of play had improved tremendously, however, lack of finish and self-discipline allowed for A&M to beat us in the 5th, 12-15. Though I was upset about our loss, I couldn't help but be excited about seeing my family and friends who were able to make it to the game. It meant a lot to me, being so far away from home, to see each of them.
As for Saturday's match with Colorado, we would once again suffer the agonies of defeat. The scores prove that each game was a long hard fight. Each game, except for the 4th exceeded the normal 30 point win. (33-31, 34-36, 29-31, 26-30) We did not take advantage of the many leads we had throughout these games and ended up letting Colorado gain enough confidence to take the match.
We will be at home this Wednesday to take on Oklahoma at 7 p.m. at the USA, I hope to see everyone there!
