Another week has passed, and I must say that it was a heartbreaking week. To start off the week, we traveled to College Station to play the ever so lovely Aggies. This was a really big match, and we new this going into it. First of all, it is a big rivalry, then again any school we play in Texas is a rivalry. All I could think of is how sweet it would be to beat A&M in football and in volleyball. At the start of the match, we found ourselves in a tough situation from the get go being down 2 games. After the half, we came out with a vengeance. We won the next to games, and were up 11-7 in the 5th. How A&M out-scored us 8 to 1, I will never know. The match slipped right through our fingers, and we ended up losing 15-12. I have never been so emotionally traumatized in my life. This past Saturday, we hosted Colorado and lost in four. Right now at this point in the season, I couldn't be more frustrated. We have all of the talent in the world, but we can't seem to just dominate teams like we should. As a captain, I lie awake at night trying to solve this problem. The only thing I can come up with is to just get tougher, play hard everyday in practice and in games, and be the best leader I can be to a great group of girls. I love this game and the people I work with everyday too much to let this season slip away, so all I can say, is watch out because you are going to see a new team the second half of Big 12 play. I am ready to start racking up the wins to get this team on the track it should have been on a long time ago. See you on Wednesday when we host the Oklahoma Sooners. Thanks for your support!
