LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball team will look to snap a three-match skid this Saturday when the #21 Missouri Tigers visit the United Spirit Arena for a 7 pm match.
The Red Raiders (6-7, 1-3 Big 12) are coming off a five-game loss to Kansas State in which Tech lead by as many as four points in the final game.
Missouri is currently ranked 21st in the latest USA Today/AVCA poll and is 14-1, 4-0 on the season. The Tigers have had two Big 12 Players of the Week this season.
Offensively, Tech is led by Kelly Johnson, Melissa McGehee and Angela Mooney who all have recorded over 100 kills on the season. Red Raider coach Jeff Nelson changed his lineup last match looking for some different looks. One major change that was made was senior Ann Romjue moved to the libero position and freshman Jessica Watson got her first start.
The match is scheduled for a 7 pm start, with the first 400 fans in attendance receiving a free Schlotzskys sandwich.
