- Currently, Coach Knight has 783 victories which places him alone in 6th place among all coaches with a minimum of 500 victories. He recently passed the legendary "Mr. Iba" (767 victories). (Bob Knight has coached 1078 games in his collegiate career)
- Coach Knight is second among "winningest active coaches" in Division 1 basketball. Jim Phelan of Mt. St. Mary's began the season at the top of the list with 816 wins.
