Eighth Annual Spring Fling this Weekend.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball program will host its eighth Annual Spring Fling Grass Volleyball Tournament on Sat., April 27, at 19th and University on the Texas Tech campus.
Teams will serve and spike their way through the tournament on 30 courts in 10 divisions ranging from Corporate A - Advanced (Co-ed's) to youth 12 & under. Check in will begin at 7 a.m. with play starting at 8:30 a.m.
Championship prizes include a variety of gift certificates, caps and apparel along with cash prizes in the Open divisions.
As a fundraiser for the Tech volleyball program, there will be a raffle, which will include autographed copies of Tech basketball coach Bobby Knight's new book, coach Knight-autographed basketballs as well as Brittney Spears concert tickets.
The $20 per person entry fee includes a tournament t-shirt, a bottle of Powerade and snacks. Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
