Kingsbury Website Launches Today

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Athletic Media Relations office in conjunction with the Official College Sports Network (formerly FansOnly) announced today the launching of www.kliffkingsbury.com, a website dedicated to the senior quarterback and his run toward the Heisman Trophy.
Detailed in the website are Kingsbury's biography, stats, records, career highlights and a highlight video. Later in the summer leading up to the season, features such as chats, weekly diaries and weekly question and answer sessions will be added. During the course of the season, video highlights, photos and notes will be updated each week.
Kingsbury currently holds 33 individual school records and is on pace to eclipse the 10,000-yard passing mark. Only 18 quarterbacks in NCAA history have accomplished that feat. He also is the nation's third-leading returning passer from the 2001 season.
The Red Raiders open the 2002 season in the Pigskin Classic at Ohio State Sat., Aug. 24. The game will be televised nationally on ABC.
