Red Raiders receive Big 12 rings, letter jackets

Texas Tech's Big 12 Championship rings were unveiled Friday night following the annual Letter Jacket Ceremony
LUBBOCK, Texas — The Red Raiders formally received their Big 12 Championship rings Friday evening following Texas Tech's annual letter jacket ceremony. The Big 12 Championship rings were unveiled after 18 Red Raiders and head coach Joey McGuire were all presented letter jackets by Texas Tech's group of letterwinners that were in attendance.Â
For McGuire, it was a surprise presentation of his letter jacket, beginning with a video from the great Rodney Allison and commencing with a standing ovation from his team and the letterwinenrs in attendance. McGuire was promised a letter jacket upon his arrival at Texas Tech for when the Red Raiders win the Big 12 title.Â
