7-on-7 Passing Championships Saturday

Texas Tech head football coach Mike Leach and his staff will host the 2002 Passing Championships Saturday on the Rec softball fields.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Football Camps officially get underway this weekend with the 7-on-7 Passing Championships Sat., June 1, at the Recreation Center Softball Fields next to Rocky Johnson Field on the Tech campus.

Teams from Texas and Colorado are scheduled to compete in the event and registration is still open and begins at noon. The first game is set for 1 p.m. and the last game will start at approximately 9 p.m. The event is a round-robin format that will finish as a single-elimination event.
