Will Chavis Named to Big 12 Foreign Tour

Lubbock, TX - Will Chavis, Red Raider senior guard, has been selected to the 2002 Big 12 Men's Foreign Tour Team. The team will play a total of five games in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark against some outstanding competition.
The trip begins in Dallas on August 2, with workouts at the American Airlines Center, (home of the Dallas Mavericks) from August 2 through August 4 before departing for Stockholm, Sweden on August 5. Their return to Dallas will be late in the evening on August 16.
Coach Dave Bliss (Baylor University) will serve as head coach for the 2002 Men's Foreign Tour. One student-athlete was selected from each Big 12 team. The other members of the team are:
Lawrence Roberts (Baylor), Blair Wilson (Colorado), Jake Sullivan (Iowa State), Bryant Nash (Kansas), Pervis Pasco (Kansas State), Travon Bryant (Missouri), Jake Muhleisen (Nebraska), Quannas White (Oklahoma), Ivan McFarlin (Oklahoma State), Deginald Erskin (Texas), Nick Anderson (Texas A&M), and Will Chavis (Texas Tech).
