Schraml Earns ITA Academic All-America Honors

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech senior women's tennis player Barbara Schraml recently earned Academic All-America honors from ITA making her the first player under head coach Virginia Brown to earn national academic honors.

Schraml, a native of Linz, Australia, is a molecular biology major and will complete her college eligibility on the courts for the Red Raiders as a senior in 2003. ITA Academic All-America honors require that a student athlete be either a junior or senior and must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
