Tech Volleyball To Host Baylor

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Tech volleyball squad will host the Baylor Bears tomorrow at the United Spirit Arena for its eighth conference match of the season. Tech (8-8, 0-7) is looking to break an eight match losing streak while the Bears look to stop a four match losing streak.
Leading Tech is junior Kelly Johnson who holds a team high 320 kills, 23 service aces and a team second best 156 digs. Contributing offensively is junior Laura Grote who averages 12.35 assists a game with a team second best 15 aces. Defensively junior Jessy Herrera leads the team with 211 digs while sophomore Jessica Watson has 37 blocks on the season.
Baylor (10-10, 2-5) enters the match coming off a 3-0 loss to Colorado. Tisha Schwartz leads the team with 334 kills and is second on the team with 24 aces and 207 digs.
First serve is set for 7 p.m.
