Softball To Host Final Fall Tournament

LUBBOCK, Texas - In the team's last action of the fall, Lady Raider Softball will host six other regional schools in the Texas Tech Fall October Classic this weekend, October 18-19. The tournament will be the last chance for fans see Tech play before the regular season begins.
Joining Tech to round of the tournament field will be Midland College, Odessa College, Howard Community College, Vernon College, Dodge City and Panhandle State. This will be the second trip to the Hubb City this fall for the teams from Midland College and Odessa College, who last month participated in the Texas Tech Fall Invitational Sept. 18-19. The Lady Raider finished that tournament with an unblemished 4-0 record and enter the Texas Tech Fall October Classic looking to improve on that mark.
Tech will kick off its regular season February 6 against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi during tournament play in San Marcus, Texas. The Lady Raider will host its first home game on February 18, when they host UTEP in a doubleheader.
