Volleyball To Host Oklahoma

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball team will host Oklahoma tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena for its fifth home match of the season. Tech (8-10, 0-9) is coming off a 3-0 loss to Texas.

This marks the 44th meeting between the teams with Tech holding the series advantage 32-11. Tech is currently on a 10-match winning streak over the Sooner, shutting them out 3-0 in every match. Oklahoma is coming off a 3-0 loss to No. 21 Texas A&M.

Junior Kelly Johnson is leading Tech with 366 kills and 25 service aces, hitting .271 on the season. Defensively, junior Jessy Herrera holds a team high 233 digs with sophomore Jessica Watson adding 38 total blocks.

Faculty and Staff who show a valid TTU ID will not be charged admission. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
