Red Raiders and Bears Meet in Big 12 Conference Tournament

Lubbock, TX - The Red Raiders face the Baylor University Bears in Game Three of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Tournament in Dallas on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the American Airlines Center.
The third meeting between the two teams this season will be regionally televised by ESPN. Dave Armstrong will call the play-by-play as Paul Splittorff provides the expert analysis.
Jack Dale, in his 50th year of broadcasting, will handle the play-by-play calls on the All Sports Radio Network. Michael Lewis, former Coach Knight player, will provide courtside analysis.
The Raiders are 16 - 11 for the season and 6 - 10 in Big 12 Conference action after their 74 - 68 road loss to Baylor on Saturday afternoon in Waco. Baylor's Lawrence Roberts led the Bears with 28 points and 16 rebounds. Red Raider Andre Emmett scored 26 points on ten field goals and six-for-six from the free throw line. Senior Kasib Powell tallied another double-double with 11 rebounds and 16 points.
Overall, Baylor is 14 - 13 for the season and 5 - 11 in conference play. Dave Bliss, Baylor head coach owns a 16 -17 mark against Texas Tech and is 3 - 5 while guiding the Bears.
This will be the 106th meeting between the Raiders and the Bears. Tech holds a 66 -39 series advantage. The Raiders lead 5 - 3 in games played at neutral sites.
