Red Raider Softball Sets Fall Tournament Schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas - In preparation for the upcoming spring season, the Lady Raider softball team will host two fall tournaments at Rocky Johnson Field. Eight teams from Texas and New Mexico will take part in the tournaments.
The Texas Tech Fall Invitational will feature five regional teams who will compete the weekend of Sept. 27-28 at Rocky Johnson Field. Traveling from the Permian basin to participate will be Midland College and Odessa College and from neighboring New Mexico, Eastern New Mexico University and New Mexico Highlands University.
Rounding out the fall schedule will be the Texas Tech Fall October Classic, which will be held Oct. 18-19. Six teams are slated to take the field during the tournament, including Midland College, Odessa College, Howard Community College, Dodge City, and Vernon College. The schedule for the Texas Tech Fall October Classic will be released at a later date.
