         Postgame Quotes
On the game ...
"I'm not sure how mentally tough we are. I thought we had contributions on all three sides of the ball, and that was significant. We had opportunities on all three sides of the ball to put it away, and we didn't take advantage of it. It was a big win on the road and we overcame some adversity, and I'm proud of that. As far as our team goes, we need to be focused in the work we have yet to do and the week we have yet to do it to win the game next week."
On the play of the offensive line...
"I thought they did some good things. We need to improve there too. We are a work in progress around here. If we can put it together in several weeks of succession, we will be making some progress."
On calling a timeout right after a K-State touchdown...
"I should have called it earlier. I almost called it, and should have called it right before we kicked it to them. I wish I would have called it then."
On the big picture after this win...
"I don't look at that (the standings), and I'm not a big picture guy. All I know is that we have a lot of work to do on offense, a certain amount of work to do on special teams, and I think we have some work to do on our mental toughness. We made some improvement out here today. We have to quit committing penalties. We need to go out there and play well against Baylor."
On scoring on their first two possessions...
"We kind of expect to score. Kansas State has a great defense and great coaches over there, but I thought it was a pretty good start. There were key times later in the game where if we do the same thing, it isn't a nail-biter at the end."
On the big plays on the first drive...
"We didn't hit as many as we could have. We had a big play on that first drive. When we ran it, the safety bit and we had a shot at the post pattern."
