The women's squad is currently ranked seventh in the regional standings with Big 12 rival Colorado leading the Mountain Region.
Traveling for the men's squad will be sophomore Haron Lagat, junior Benson Cheserek, senior Rob Kalescky, sophomore Justin Kutch, senior Adam Lawless and sophomores Pedro Vargas and Nick Eyhorn. The men are currently ranked 13th in the region with the Colorado men leading the way in the standings.
"I'm very excited about this weekend", said head coach Burke Binning. "I'm looking for Haron Lagat to qualify individually for nationals. Bridget Tidwell and Brionne Yosten also have excellent chances at qualifying individually. I'm excited that our women's squad has another chance to show that they are one of the better teams in the region. The men also have another opportunity to move up in the rankings and I'd like to see them have a top ten finish."
