"I think matches like today can be very tricky if you don't approach them correctly," stated head coach Cari Groce. "I think our team did a very good job of approaching this match with good intensity and executed the game plan that we had from the onset. We didn't allow them any opportunities. We got out there and immediately took care of business. I think this says a lot about the team that we have. I gave them a game plan and they went out executed it and that makes you feel really good as a coach. It makes you very confident in your players."
The Lady Raiders take on Tulsa tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Tulsa, Okla. Tech will return to the McLeod Tennis Center next Friday, April 2, where they will take on Texas A&M at 6 p.m. in the first night match in school history.
