"So this is the third week of conference play and I must say that it has been so exciting. Granted there have been a lot of ups and downs, we still have fun and look forward to every game. I guess you could say that we have this pre-game excitement booster, especially when we listen to "Raise the Roof". Gosh that's fun in itself. But then when game time gets closer it is like my body can tell. My hands get sweaty and my stomach begins to churn with the nervousness. The thought of playing in the Big 12, are you kidding me. It's just so exciting. But what can compare to the thought when I am actually doing it. It seems as though with every game I am slowly but surely getting better. Digging against some of the top-ranked teams in the nation is unbelievable. Then when we get the kill off of the dig and see the fans go wild and the team gets pumped, I always remember that it all started with me."
"I loved playing in Iowa, seeing Kelly "pimp" her jersey when she got a block or the team yelling our new ACE cheer was so much fun. I mean who doesn't like the Rocky Movie theme... Ace, ace aceeee, ace ace aceeeee. Especially when we came back and won game three. I was so stoked, I only got four digs but at that point in time I didn't even care. We won and we deserved it. We fought long and hard for those points and when we were done that was such an awesome feeling. But now it is off to A&M and I can't wait. I am so anxious yet ready to play at the same time. And besides, we are 1-0 on the charter plane and who could ask for more."
