"I want our players to look at this weekend as an opportunity to go out and have some fun while continuing to prepare themselves for the upcoming season. I want the focus of this tournament not to be on the outcomes of the games, but on the chance we have to continue to progress and get ready for the beginning of the season in February."
Texas Tech softball will kick off the 2006 season in Jacksonville, Fla., on February 9th with a doubleheader match up against Jacksonville University.
