Tech Volleyball Swept by the Cyclones

Lubbock, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball team was swept by Iowa State, in Ames, Iowa, tonight. The Cyclones took the match with game scores of 30-13, 30-19 and 30-17. The Red Raiders now fall to 8-7 and 2-4 in Big 12 play on the season.
Category leaders for the match were Philister Sang with nine kills, Emily Ziegler with nine assists and Desiree Batista with six digs.
This match marks the second all-time lowest match hitting percentage for a Tech team as the Red Raiders posted a swing percentage of -.053. Iowa State hit for .461, the third-best hitting percentage posted by an opponent against Tech.
The Red Raiders return home this Saturday, as they host the Colorado Buffaloes at 7 p.m., at the United Spirit Arena.
