
Lady Raiders Wrap Up The UNLV Tournament

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech defeated Northern Arizona, 4-0 in the final day of the UNLV Lady Rebel Classic in Las Vegas, Nev. Tech defeated Cal State Northridge on Saturday, 6-1 and lost to No. 30 New Mexico on Friday, 5-2.
The Lady Raiders did not play doubles. At the number one singles spot, Cigdem Duru defeated Julie Schmandt, 6-1, 6-3, while Durham beat Susan McClelland, 7-6, 6-3, in position number two. At the number three spot, Tara Browning came out on top against Ashley Dille, 6-4, 6-1, and in position number four and five their was a default. In the number six position, Lakann Wagley defeated Georgia Mills, 6-1, 6-0.
Tech's record is now 2-5 for the spring season. The Lady Raiders will head to Manhattan, Kansas Sat., March 5 to face Kansas State at 10 a.m.
