Tech Volleyball Hosts 11th Annual Spring Fling

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's volleyball team will host its 11th Annual Spring Fling Grass Volleyball Tournament Saturday, April 30. The Red Raiders use the yearly event to raise money for the women's volleyball program here at Tech.
The event will take place on the Tech campus on the corner of 19th and University with the deadline for entries April 27. The event is open to all Tech students and faculty, as well as to the general public.
The event will include divisions of Men's Open (Doubles), Men's A (Doubles), Women's Open (Doubles), Women's A (Doubles), Co-ed 4-on-4, Corporate (Co-ed 4-on-4), Girl's 18 and under (Doubles), Girl's 15 and under (Doubles) and Girl's 12 and under (Doubles).
Providing music throughout the event will be KLLL, KMMX, ROCK101 and 104.9 the Beat.
The event will kickoff with check-in starting at 7:30 a.m. and play beginning at 9:00 a.m. Tournament costs will be 15 dollars a person in advance and 20 dollars at the event. A free tournament t-shirt, PowerAde and snacks will be given to all players. Texas Tech coach and players will be on hand for the entire event.
