Football Kickoff Luncheon Scheduled for Sept. 6

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's annual Kickoff Luncheon is slated for Tues., Sept. 6, 2005 at the Civic Center Exhibit Hall in downtown Lubbock. The event will get underway at 11:15 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m.
The luncheon will feature Red Raiders Head Coach Mike Leach, who will discuss the upcoming season. Additionally, members of the Red Raider football team also will be in attendance. A highlight video from Tech's successful 2004 campaign will be shown.
All proceeds from the luncheon will go toward the Red Raider Scholarship Fund, which provides student-athletes with scholarships. Ticket prices are $30 for an individual ticket, $300 for a reserved table of eight, $500 for an assistant coach's table for eight and $1,000 for the head coach's table for eight.
In addition to the attendance of Coach Leach and the players, the Goin' Band from Raiderland, Tech cheerleaders and Raider Red will be on hand.
