Volleyball Drops 3-1 Decision to Houston

Lubbock, Texas- Texas Tech volleyball dropped a 3-1 decision to Houston, by scores of 16-30, 28-30, 30-28 and 20-30. They now fall to 0-2 on the season.
Junior Philister Sang led the way for the Red Raiders, posting her first double-double with 18 kills and 12 digs. Defensively, Desiree Batista chipped in with 22 digs. Freshman Holly Hicks tallied 37 assists in her second appearance as a Red Raider.
The Red Raiders will head to Dallas next weekend for the SMU Tournament.
