LUBBOCK, Texas - The first round of payments for 2006 Texas Tech Football season ticket renewals are due Feb. 14 with final payments due April 26, according to a timeline announced today by the Athletics Ticket Office. The payment plan divides the total cost of season tickets into thirds with the second payment due by March 22.
The season ticket costs can be paid in full during that time period as long as one-third is paid by Feb. 14. Renewals were mailed to current season ticket holders Tuesday.
Club seat upgrades for Red Raider Club members will take place March 29-30 at The Stadium Club. Priority upgrades for Red Raider Club members at the $3,000+ levels are scheduled for April 4, followed by upgrades for those in the $600-$2,999 levels April 5. RRC donors between the $100-$599 levels are slated for upgrades April 6. Season ticket holder upgrades will take place April 7.
Red Raider fans that did not purchase season tickets last year and want to get in on the season ticket action for 2006 can place reservations through the ticket office. Those who reserve season tickets in advance will be placed in available seating and have the opportunity to upgrade those seats April 11. Season tickets will go on sale to the general public April 12.
Individual game pre-order forms will be mailed to all season ticket holders and RRC members at the $600 level and above on May 15 with a due date of July 21. RRC members at the $300-$599 levels will have the opportunity to purchase individual game tickets July 28.
Internet and Select-a-Seat ticket outlet sales of individual game tickets (excluding the Texas game) and mini-packs will begin July 31, while individual game tickets (excluding the Texas game) and mini-packs will go on sale through the athletics ticket office Aug. 7. Individual game tickets for the Oct. 28 Texas game will go on sale on the internet and area outlets Sept. 24 and will be on sale through the ticket office beginning Sept. 25.
Individual game ticket prices for the 2006 season are as follows: Sept. 2 SMU $40 (Chairback + Sec. 18) $25 (Non-Chairback) Sept. 23 Southeastern Louisiana $40 (Chairback + Sec. 18) $25 (Non-Chairback) Oct. 7 Missouri (Homecoming) $55 (Chairback + Sec. 18) $35 (Non-Chairback) Oct. 28 Texas $85 (All Seats) Nov. 4 Baylor $55 (Chairback + Sec. 18) $35 (Non-Chairback) Nov. 18 Oklahoma State $55 (Chairback + Sec. 18) $35 (Non-Chairback)Ticket prices for groups of 15-49 are $10 per ticket for the SMU and Southeastern Louisiana games and $8 per ticket for groups of 50 or more. Group tickets will not be offered for the Texas game. If group tickets are available for the Missouri, Baylor and Oklahoma State games, they will be $20 for groups of 15 or more.
