LUBBOCK, Texas - Memorial services for Texas Tech assistant football coach Dave Brown have been scheduled for Mon., Jan. 23, at 4 p.m. at Trinity Church in Lubbock. Brown passed away last week.

A self-proclaimed "Christian who coaches," Brown was an inspiration for those who were in his presence. He was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and held weekly bible studies for Texas Tech student-athletes. His faith in God and his leadership made him one of the most admired individuals on the Texas Tech campus.

Funeral services were held for Brown in Seattle, Wash., on Tuesday.
