Lubbock, Texas - No. 45 Texas Tech men's tennis found a huge win over No. 59 Western Michigan, 4-0, on Thursday, at the HEB Invitational in Corpus Christi, Texas. The squad is now sitting at 6-2 on the season.
Tech secured the doubles point with victories from Adrian Prpic and Christian Rojmar who defeated Brady Crosby and Bryan Norville, 8-6, at the No. 1 spot. At No. 2, Michael Breler and Dimitrio Martinez cruised past Jose Orozco and Alex Birchmeier, 8-2. The No. 3 doubles match went unfinished
In singles action, Prpic won at No. 1 as he defeated Crosby, 6-3, 6-2. Rojmar topped Tim Bradshaw at No. 3, 6-2, 6-2. Sinisa Markovic secured the win with his victory at the No. 5 spot as he edged Birchmeier, 6-3, 6-0. The No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles matches went unfinished.
The Red Raiders will face No. 37 Middle Tennessee State on Fri., March 3, at 2:30 p.m.
