Tech Volleyball Announces 2006 Schedule

Lubbock, Texas - Texas Tech volleyball announced its' 2006 schedule this week. The squad will play in three pre-conference tournaments before beginning Big 12 play on Wed., Sept. 13.
The Red Raiders will play ten home matches at the United Spirit Arena and travel for three tournaments and ten conference road matches.
The Red Raiders will play in the Sun Bowl Volleyball Invitational, in El Paso, Texas, Fri.-Sat., Aug. 25-26. The UT-Pan American tournament will be held Fri.-Sat., Sept. 1-2. Finally, the squad will head east to the University of South Florida Tournament, Fri.-Sat., Sept. 8-9.
Tech will begin Big 12 play at Texas, Wed., Sept. 13. Their first home match will be Sat., Sept. 16 when they host the Colorado Buffaloes. Conference action will conclude Sat., Nov 25, with a trip Missouri.
