Freshman left fielder Roger Kieschnick now has 15 multiple hit games this season after going 3-for-5 with one RBI and three runs scored in tonight's game. Kieschnick got hits in his first two at-bats this evening and both came on the first offering from A&M starter Kyle Nicholson.
Tech's 19 hits on the evening tied a season-high and was the most hits against Texas A&M pitching this season. The 11 runs scored by Tech on the night were also a season-high against Aggie pitching.
Freshman second baseman Willie Rueda extended his current hit streak to six game as he went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Senior third baseman Joey Callender extended his hit streak to five games by going 2-for-5 at the dish.
Texas Tech is just one win away from the program's 1,300th all-time.
