Dates for Texas Tech Softball Summer Camps Announced

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Head Softball Coach Teresa Wilson announced her Summer Softball Camps earlier this week. The Pitching Camp will be held June 13 through 15 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Two Offensive/Defensive Camps, based on age groups, will be held from June 20 - 22; with the 9 a.m. to Noon slot being held for youths from 7 - 13 years old, and the 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. slot for 14 to 18 year olds.
"This year we're going to move to three sessions, which will each last three hours and which will avoid the heat of the Lubbock afternoons. We will be restricting attendance to 50 pitchers and 75 offensive/defensive players per age group in order to keep the instructor to camper ratio small," Coach Wilson said.
Each session will include comprehensive instruction, drills, the mental approach to the game and, for the first time, will feature video analysis stations for instant feedback. Included with the fee for the sessions are written materials for campers.
