Red Raider Volleyball Prepares for 2007 Season

LUBBOCK, Texas - In preparation for another campaign, the Texas Tech volleyball squad will begin its strength and conditioning training during the week of January 8th.
The practices will last until the start of spring semester finals in May. In addition, Tech will compete in two spring tournaments, March 24th in Lubbock, Texas, and April 14th in Houston, Texas.
Ten out of the 14 Red Raiders on the team will be returning to the court in the fall of 2007. Texas Tech welcomes two newcomers for the 2007 season, junior transfer Brandi Hood from Hutchinson Community College and freshman Caroline Courtney. Hood will begin her season preparation with the team by next week, as well.
Texas Tech will begin its campaign August 24th at the UNLV in Las Vegas, Nev.
