STILLWATER, Okla. - Raquel Christian hit a 15-foot jumper with 1.1 seconds left in the game to give Texas Tech a 63-61 victory over Oklahoma State.
In a game that saw 17 lead changes, 12 in the second half alone, Texas Tech (12-7, 3-2) got its largest lead of seven points with 1:21 left in the first half. The Cowgirls (14-4, 2-3) were up by as many as five points with 16 minutes remaining in the game.
Christian and Patrice Edwards led the Lady Raiders with 14 point apiece, while Jordan Murphree and Alesha Robertson finished with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Robertson also added 11 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the season.
Andrea Riley led the Cowgirls with 15 points.
Tech went into the locker room at halftime with a 29-24 advantage.
OSU outrebounded Tech 36 to 34, while the Lady Raiders shot 48.6 percent from the field to Oklahoma State's 36.2 percent.
Tech will play at Oklahoma on Mon., Jan. 22, at 6 p.m. The game was rescheduled from its original date of Jan. 14, due to inclement weather in the Oklahoma and West Texas area that weekend.
