Red Raiders In College Station On Tuesday

The Texas Tech Red Raiders (15-10, 4-6) travel to College Station for their Tuesday evening game against the Texas A&M Aggies (21-3, 9-1). The 3 PM tip-off at Reed Arena is televised on ESPN 2 with Ron Franklin calling the play-by-play and Fran Fraschilla providing the game analysis.
In West Texas, the game can be seen on Dish Network (Channel 144), Suddenlink Cable (Channel 30), and DirecTV (Channel 209).
Texas Tech and Texas A&M are meeting for the one hundred and sixteenth time since the series began on December 17, 1941. With their 70-68 win over A&M on January 24, Texas Tech now holds a 62-53 lead in the series. The Red Raiders have a 36-18 margin when the teams have played in Lubbock. The Aggies have a 32-20 edge when the teams have played in College Station. Texas Tech holds a 5-4 edge on neutral courts.
In their first meeting this season at the United Spirit Arena, Acie Law of the sixth ranked A&M squad led all scorers with 26 points. Dominique Kirk scored 12 points. Joseph Jones added 11 points and had seven rebounds. Martin Zeno led Texas Tech in scoring with 22 points. Jon Plefka scored 17 points and Jarrius Jackson added 13 points for the Red Raiders.
The Red Raiders feature two players averaging double-figures for the 2006-2007 season. Jarrius Jackson's 20.0 points per game is third in the Big 12 Conference. Martin Zeno's 16.7 points per game ranks seventh in the conference.
In College Station, Steve Dale will call the courtside action along with Ted Chidester as analyst on the Texas Tech Sports Network (KKAM 1340 AM and KQBR 99.5 FM).
Texas Tech returns to the United Spirit Arena on Saturday for their 6:30 PM game against Colorado. Television coverage will be provided by the Texas Tech Television Network.
