Red Raider Soccer Hosts Stephen F. Austin in Home Opener

Lubbock, Texas - Following its first win of the season Wednesday at Texas State, the Texas Tech soccer team returns to R.P. Fuller Stadium tonight for its home opener against Stephen F. Austin at 7:30 p.m. All tickets will be $1.
Tonight's meeting is the fifth between the two schools with Tech holding a 3-0-1 all-time record against the Lumberjills. The two teams have not met since the 1997 season.
Led by two goals by sophomore Emmie Bennett, Wednesday's 3-0 victory at Texas State was Tech head coach Tom Stone's first win as a Red Raider.
The Red Raiders will return to the field Sun., Sept. 9, for a 1 p.m. meeting against the University of Texas-San Antonio. All fans with their ticket stub from the Saturday's UTEP football game will get in free.
